Licensing Information

A single-user license can be purchased for 14.95 USD or is free for Educational and Government use.  Upon payment a license number will be sent to the purchaser via email.  Educational and Government users simply contact me via Email directly and I will send you a license number for free.  This number can then be entered in the shareware version of the program to convert it to a licensed version.

Features

  • Methods for obtaining images to work with include loading graphics files, pasting from the clipboard, dragging from explorer and many other programs, scanning from a scanner, and taking images from a pc camera;
  • Many software applications support taking snapshots using a PC camera attached to a computer, but they don't support a timer feature.  This feature in Point 'n' Talk allows photos to be taken as they are taken in a photo booth, where the user can not only be in the picture, but can concentrate on posing rather than interacting with the software;

  • Annotations are made with voice and text comments, and synchronized pointing is also supported.  The latter feature makes it very simple and natural for the person recording to describe where the listener should look when a part of the image is being referred to;
  • The proprietary .one file format that combines the image and annotations into a single file makes storing, transforming, and opening the recordings simpler than dealing with multiple files;
  • Player versions of Point 'n' Talk are free, making it economical to distribute recordings.
