Coordinating (Shared) Perspectives in Human Robot Coordination
Martin Voshell, Augustinus H. J. Oomes
“Our interface design looks to overcome many of the significant perceptual ambiguities handlers face as well as provide a structure for coordinating multiple perspectives between handlers and problem holders as a remote exploration plays out. Previous research looked at reducing keyhole effects that hinder remote functional presence in virtual USAR environments and the current work uses a physical robot platform to test new interfaces in the real world.”
Military Intelligence Processes: a study examining support for intelligence analysis
Justin Grossman, Stoney Trent,   Emily Patterson, Martin Voshell
“Analysts face a myriad of challenges in the conduct of operations. Data overload is a problem that is dependent on the context of the current situation and the interaction of multiple goals. The dynamics of a mission provide unforseen interactions that inevitably display brittleness in intelligence support tools...”
animock: scenarios as tools for collaborative envisioning
Josh Schoenwald, Axel Roesler, Martin Voshell, Jim Tittle, David Woods
“An animock is an animated mock-up. The animock concept illustrates a mocked-up design future, animated by a storyline that illustrates use, collaboration, and adaptations in time. As a design tool it serves as a representation that is open for revision, initiating feedback from practitioners, innovators, and technologists.”
