Common Ground The concept of common ground will be discussed through the presentation and analyze of a short video showing a real working situation. Convoy Problem An exercise was conducted to illustrate important aspects of the convoy problem. Examples relating to core concepts such as basic compact, observability, anomaly recognition, and coordination surprise are presented. Open Workspace The open workspace idea will be explored through the use of concept illustrations, a skill review and test, and an interactive component that allows the user to design a workspace. Concepts in Distributed Work and Coordination The purpose of this website is to display different aspects and elements of collaboration as well as explore the costs and benefits of collaboration.  The following three projects contain both staged and real world environments, and depict concepts such as common ground, Basic Compact, trust, observability, directability, and shifting perspectives.
